The summer is heating up and summer romances are sizzling. Whether you’re looking for a first date with a new summer fling or a night out with your long time love Indy has the perfect date spots. We’ve complied a list of our 5 favorite date spots during the summer months.
The LOVE sculpture at the Art and Nature Park at the IMA. There is a reason why this is one of the top engagement spots in Indiana. You can make a whole day date and begin or end your date at the sculpture and stroll the Art and Nature Park. Picnic lunches are encouraged. Or if the day is too warm you can stop by the LOVE sculpture on your way inside the museum.
Massachusetts Avenue. Mass Ave is a fun stop any time of day. Grab a coffee for a morning date. Or have lunch at one of the many restaurants and browse the shops. Or reverse that for a dinner date and then stop in one of the bars for a post dinner drink!
Outdoor Concerts. Summertime means outdoor concerts and music festivals. No matter what kind of music you like, you can bet there will be a concert to see at Klipsh Music Center or on the lawn at White River State Park.
Winery or Brewery Tour. You don’t even have to stray far from downtown to visit a number of breweries. You can also hop on the Handlebar or Brew Bus for a different way to tour the breweries. Easley Winery is also located downtown if craft beer isn’t your style.
Sporting Events. Catch a baseball game at Victory Field and cheer on the Indianapolis Indians or walk over to IUPUI and catch and Indy Eleven game if soccer is more your sport.
