Not only does curb appeal say a lot about your home, but also as soon as a buyer enters your home, they can decide if they are excited to see the rest or dreading taking another step. In the housing market, customers are not static. Every buyer is different—they are all looking for a different home, different features, even a different location. The customer that comes to look at your home could be the one to buy it. A seller must treat everyone who comes to view his or her home as the person who will buy it. In order to sell your home quickly, you must keep it clean, smelling fresh, and the outside looking kept up. If you lose a potential buyer on their first showing, you may not get another customer for weeks. As realtors, our job is to make your buying and selling experience as stress-free and easy as we can, but that means we must work together on making your home impactful on first sight.
